About

DESS Aqua UK was formed in 2018 as part of DESS Aquaculture Shipping.

DESS Aqua UK was purchased by Blue Aqua Ships in April 2022. In April 2023 we became BAM Marine and BAS Marine.

DESS Aquaculture shipping was a joint venture between MOWI and Deep Sea Supply (DESS), part of Norwegian shipping company SOLSTAD. Our 3 workboats entered long term contracts with MOWI to provide services to their Scotland Operations.

Originally 50% shareholders in DESS Aquaculture, MOWI sold their shares in December 2022. DESS Aquaculture then became part of  SOLVTRANS to become the largest provider of Well boats to Aquaculture industry worldwide. In April 2022 SOLVTRANS parted with DESS Aqua UK and we then became part of Blue Aqua Ships A/S and Blue Aqua Management A/S.

Our office is located in Malin House at the European Science Park, Dunstaffange.

Our long term goal is to provide complete ship management package for the Aquaculture Industry worldwide.
